ATSWCD President Leroy Wolff announces the return of the Monday night Live Auction event
To: Conservation District Directors: I hope that you are all making plans to join us in September for the Annual State Meeting. We will be back at the Kalahari Resort in Round Rock. Registration opens on July 1st, just a few weeks away. We are pleased to let you know that the ATSWCD Live Auction and other activities will be back on Monday night. We have heard from many of you seeking the return of this fun evening. That being said, we would also appreciate any donations you or your SWCD is willing to make to the auction. We look forward to featuring the action-packed evening again. With planning well underway, I know this year’s meeting is not one to miss. This year directors will have the opportunity to attend additional breakout sessions and a very special tour opportunity. Again, registration opens July 1st. Area Association Officers: We look forward to seeing everyone at the Annual Meeting the end of this month in Round Rock at the Kalahari resort. We have a great lineup of speakers and a very full agenda starting early Monday morning. In an effort to accommodate as many schedules as possible we are hosting our annual Area Association Officers meeting as a come-and-go coffee on Monday morning at 7:00 am in the Portia room down stairs. This will allow those who have tour tickets plenty of time to stop by and get a cup of coffee and visit a few minutes and be upstairs for the tour. The State Soil and Water Conservation Board is also holding their meeting at this time and you should have time to attend both meetings for a few minutes. With an abbreviated version of this meeting, we are happy to host the coffee and donuts but ask that you kindly RSVP so that we may have an accurate head count. We look forward to seeing you.
